Nov 21, 2014 · I bought the $99 TMobile version of the RT-AC68U and then flashed the bootloader CFE to Asus version as well as Merlin's fork firmware (now reads like a RT-AC68U). If I had TMobile service, I could have gotten it for $25 (or in some cases $0) but would have to return it if I cancelled service.
